With public markets rallying, the case for private alternatives needs to be airtight. KPC Private Funds CEO Dean Rubino made that case on InvestmentNews alongside anchor Gregg Greenberg and his answer cuts through the noise.
Rubino sees pre-IPO equity as the standout opportunity right now, but warns that the crowded alternatives space has a quality problem. Large institutions have saturated their own channels and are now pushing aggressively into the financial advisor market, flooding advisors with products that often lack proper diligence, administration, and custodial infrastructure.
For Rubino, that's the whole issue:
"It's not really about access. It's about the infrastructure that comes with that access."
That's what KPC's Prism platform was built to deliver: institutional-grade infrastructure for financial advisors navigating the pre-IPO space, so they can meet their fiduciary obligations while capturing private market upside.
